Rodolphe Rutman will accompany you on your tour. He will bring to life the events of the Battle of Normandy, using his knowledge acquired over more than 30 years of research. Rodolphe has been connected to the events of June 6 1944, since 1994. That year, he assisted a group of 41 American veteran paratroopers who came to perform a commemorative jump near Sainte-Mère-Eglise. Afterwards, Rodolphe became a filmmaker specializing in history documentaries.

First-hand testimonies

Rodolphe has directed 4 TV documentary films about D-Day, which were broadcast internationally. He has interviewed more than 200 people who witnessed the events of summer 1944. 13 American veterans who landed on Omaha Beach. Today, he lives in Normandy and likes to share his passion for this subject by leading visits to memorial sites.

A 6.5 hour tour for 3-4 people

Step into history with an afternoon tour of Omaha Beach and its surrounding landmarks. You’ll explore the cliffs of Pointe du Hoc, the Normandy American Cemetery, and key sites along Omaha Beach, coupled with visits to the German reinforced position WN 62, and then the memorials dedicated to the 1st and 29th Infantry Division. This half-day offer, lasting 6.5 hours, will give you a different perspective of the battles, sacrifices, and legacies of D-Day.

A 6.5-hour tour for 1-2 people
